Mary Beth Augustine, MA, RDN, FAND- Lead Clinical Educator
Mary Beth Augustine is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Mary Beth holds a Bachelor’s degree in food and nutrition and a Master’s degree in psychology. Mary Beth’s past work experience includes two decades practicing in integrative and functional medicine departments in three teaching hospitals in the New York City area and cardiovascular research at the American Health Foundation. Mary Beth’s speaking highlights include the United Nations Committee on Aging, American Institute for Cancer Research Cancer Survivor Conference, Integrative Healthcare Symposium, Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo (FNCE), and the Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New York, West Virginia and Wisconsin Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics meetings. Mary Beth has been featured on CBS, ABC, NBC, and Fox 5 News, Today in New York, CNN Market Watch, Discovery Health TV, and National Public Radio. A long-time Hodgkin’s disease cancer survivor, brain tumor survivor, and hearing-impaired disability advocate, Mary Beth is dedicated to sharing her personal and professional passions to educate people about integrative and functional nutrition, disability studies, and sexual and gender diversity, equity, and inclusion in health care settings.

Suzanne Barker MS, RDN, LD, CTTS, CGP
Suzanne Barker is passionate about bringing health and healing to every environment. She is an RDN/Clinical Educator, and Certified Gluten Practitioner with Vibrant America. She is proud to be a fightin’ Texas Aggie and holds a MS in Nutrition Science from Texas A&M University.
Her hobbies include cycling, especially mountain biking, traveling, and creating healthy recipes. In her free time, her favorite thing to do is spend time with her husband, Michael, and their 4 daughters.

Suzette Garcia MSc- MHNE
Suzette Garcia, MSc: MHNE, is a Board Certified Holistic Nutritionist® certified through the Holistic Nutrition Credentialing Board (HNCB) and a Professional Member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP). Garcia obtained her Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education (MHNE) from Hawthorn University and has spent her nutrition career working in the field of functional health and nutrition with a strong focus on food sensitivities. Garcia is fluent in both English and Spanish and offers interpretation of lab test results in both languages.
In her spare time, Suzette enjoys spending most of her time on the waters of south Florida, vacationing to tropical locations, yoga, and furthering her education in the field of functional health and nutrition. She is a native Floridian who resides in Palm Beach County, FL.

Kim Bruno DC, CCN
Dr. Kim Bruno has been passionate about integrative medicine and achieving optimum health from a young age. She believes that proper nutrient density to each cell, removal of external interferenceto the body and thus optimally functioning biochemical pathways is the foundation of health and the key to attaining a well-balanced system.Because of Dr. Bruno’s passion for preventative and functional medicine she pursued and received her Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Chicago where she concurrently attained her Certified Clinical Nutritionist (CCN) degree. She continues her post-graduate education constantly through the Institute for Functional Medicine, Clinical Nutrition Certification Board and Lyme Master Courses. Dr. Bruno has a dedicated her career to working to find root cause to patients’ medical issues as well as promoting a prevention model of health care for all of her patients. Through her 14-year career, she has owned a private practice and also worked hand-in-hand with a variety of health care providers and in multidisciplinary practices. Most recently she was the functional medical director at the largest immunology clinic in Colorado, and specialized in complex care of patients with multiple chronic immune conditions and strived to develop immune rehabilitation plans for optimal health. Dr. Bruno is a Colorado native, she attended Colorado State University where she received her bachelors of science in Health and Exercise Science with an emphasis in Health Promotion. She enjoys all mountain activities such hiking, skiing and paddle boarding. And finds most joy in spending time outside in the beautiful nature of Colorado with her husband and two young daughters.

Greer McGuiness MS, RD, CDN, CLT, Dt.Sp
Greer McGuinness, MS, RD, CDN, CLT, Dt.Sp. is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Detox Specialist. Greer obtained her Masters in Nutritional Science from Central Michigan University, is a published researcher and a proud board member of the American Holistic Health Association (AHHA). Greer specializes in Herbal Medicine, Food Sensitivities, Gut health, and Detoxing Heavy Metals and Toxins. She specializes in pediatrics with a main focus on functional medicine with Autism and ADHD. A New York native, Greer enjoys spending time with her family, researching, baking, and enjoying the outdoors!

Brooke Mader, MS, CNS, LDN, FDN
Brooke Mader, MS, CNS, LDN, FDN is a Clinical Nutritionist, Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) and a professional member of the American Nutrition Association. She received her Master of Science Degree in Clinical Nutrition at Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), and she continues to mentor graduate students from MUIH. Brooke’s areas of expertise include management of Type 2 diabetes, metabolic syndrome, and digestive imbalances. She is passionate about embracing real food, integrative medicine, and mindfulness. In her spare time, you can find Brooke enjoying the outdoors, tending her vegetable garden or at the beach with her fiancé and goldendoodle. In a nutshell, she really loves the ocean, plants, and smoothies.

Adair Anderson MS, RDN, LDN
Adair Anderson MS, RDN, LDN, Clinical Lab Education Liaison, is a Registered and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Earlham College and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Bastyr University. After completing her internship with Virginia Tech, she served on the board of the Northern Virginia Academy of Nutrition, Dietetics, the DC Metro Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and Dietitians in Integrative and Functional Medicine. She was awarded Young Dietitian of the Year for Virginia in 2013. Adair specializes in helping clients resolve frustrating gastrointestinal conditions so they can optimize health and get back to living their best life. She brings grounded support, fosters a growth mindset, and uses evidence-based, functional testing to identify and resolve root-cause digestive mysteries. Adair is an outdoorsy hiker, skier, rock climber, competitive cyclist, yogi, chef, and amateur gardener. She and her husband recently moved from Washington, DC to the beautiful Wood River Valley of Idaho to pursue the goal of living in the moment and going on as many adventures as possible!

Kerri Louati MS, RD, LDN
Kerri Louati MS, RD, LDN is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator with a background in integrative and functional medicine. Kerri completed her undergraduate degree from Bastyr University in 2009, an institution rooted in naturopathic principles and her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Functional Medicine from the University of Western States. Professionally, Kerri has extensive experience working in a variety of clinical settings with nutrition throughout the lifecycle, including extensive professional and personal experience with pediatrics with a focus on gut-related disorders, G-tube feeding, and complex medical cases. Kerri focuses on addressing the root causes of chronic health issues and implementing a nutrient and food-as-medicine approach in her protocols. Personally, Kerri also has experience with pediatric GI nutrition and homemade blenderized diets as a result of her twin micro-preemies with G-tubes. Due to her background, she practices with a unique synergy of professional and personal experience. In her free time, you will find Kerri spending time with her 3 kids, hiking in the mountains, going to farmers markets and finding the best café’s for a nice strong cup of coffee!

Debrah Harding ND, FABNO
Dr. Deb Harding comes to Vibrant America with over 20 years of experience in the field of naturopathic medicine. She is a former core-faculty member of Bastyr University-San Diego where she taught integrative oncology, environmental medicine, and clinical medicine. Dr. Harding also worked for many years as a naturopathic oncology provider at Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), an integrative cancer hospital in Zion, Illinois. Additionally, Dr. Harding has served patients in general family practice in several integrative medicine clinics, including the Natural Health Clinic & Apothecary that she founded in Marlton, NJ.
Dr Harding is a Fellow of the American Board of Naturopathic Oncology. She completed her naturopathic training at NUNM (National University of Natural Medicine) in Portland, OR in 2000 and prior to this, obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Environmental Studies from Richard Stockton College of NJ.
In her free time, Dr. Harding loves spending time with her family. They enjoy cooking, swimming, and exploring the mountains and beaches of the Southern California area.

Lillie Luu Nguyen, DCN, CNS, LDN
Dr. Lillie Luu Nguyen, DCN, CNS, LDN is a licensed and a board-certified nutrition specialist (CNS). She is a proud UCLA Bruin, who then earned her master’s and doctorate’s degrees in Clinical Nutrition from Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH). She is also part of the teaching staff at University of Western States. She specializes in cardiometabolic and gastrointestinal illnesses, with a strong focus on women’s wellness. Lillie is very passionate about helping others eat healthily and happily, encouraging the concept that food should not only do good, but taste good as well. In her spare time she enjoys eating anything with yuzu and matcha green tea in it, going on road trips with her fiancé, and being involved in disc golf, archery, and martial arts. She is a big biological science nerd, so you can often find her teaching others about the human body, and spending all day roaming through natural history museums, aquariums, and flower gardens.

Jason Barker, ND
Dr. Jason Barker, ND graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. He earned his B.S in Exercise and Sport Science with a Minor in Anatomy and Neurobiology from Colorado State University. After obtaining his Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine he completed a 2-year residency at National University of Natural Medicine and earned a Certificate in Clinical Research at Oregon Health & Sciences University. In addition to private practice, he’s served as a clinical consultant to the nutraceutical and sports medicine industry, has authored numerous articles for the journals Alternative and Complementary Therapies, Natural Pharmacy and The Townsend Letter, and is the co-author of the book “Herbs and Nutrients for the Mind: A Guide to Natural Brain Enhancers“. Currently he is a recreationally competitive trail runner and triathlete and enjoys spending time with his 3 children outside in beautiful Colorado.

Emaline Brown, ND
Dr. Emaline Brown earned her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine degree from National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 2017 and she also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in dietetics from Florida State University. She went on to complete one year of residency at Bastyr University Clinic in San Diego, California.
During her time in medical school, she completed a naturopathic mental health rotation at Pacific Psychology & Comprehensive Health Clinic and a preceptorship in community healthcare in downtown Portland focusing on transgender medicine, chronic disease, and medication management. After completing her residency, she began practicing integrative urgent and primary care while eventually serving as Director of Integrative Medicine Services and naturopathic residency supervisor for Healthtopia Clinics in Encinitas, California.
Her clinical interests include nutrition therapy and lifestyle medicine, integrative urgent care, women’s health, dermatology, and preventive care and wellness.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature with her partner, Matt and husky dog, Summit, exploring the San Diego food scene, traveling, cooking, and strength training.
