Neural Health Panel

For the detection of patterns of imbalance in critical brain proteins

  • The Vibrant Neural Health panel is a novel multiplex test and the most comprehensive panel available to measure critical markers of brain health
  • Brain health is a collective term to gauge an individual’s ability to learn, think, remember, and move
  • Among the proteins measured, there are markers for risk assessment for neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, increased blood brain barrier permeability, and overall health of the brain
  • Determining patterns of dysfunction or imbalance in brain proteins can provide more specific information to advanced healthcare providers who are searching for answers to chronic and acute neurological inflammation
  • Markers included on the Neural Health panel screen for:
    • Risk of dementia
    • Neuron differentiation and maintenance
    • Blood brain barrier function
  • The Vibrant Neural Health Panel is the first of its kind to include all of the markers listed in one affordable test.
  • Other tests recommended to supplement the Neural Health Panel include, but are not limited to: Vibrant Neural Zoomer Plus, Heavy Metals, Vitamin B12, T3, T4, TSH, PTH, Ferritin, CBC incl diff and platelets, Folate, ApoE gene
  • Neuron specific enolase (NSE)
  • Glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP)
  • Amyloid beta
    • Abeta 1-42
    • Abeta 1-40
  • Abeta42/Abeta40 ratio
  • Total Tau
  • s100b
  • Neurofilament light
  • alpha synuclein
  • Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)

Symptoms and Conditions Associated with Neurological Dysfunction and Inflammation Include:

  • Cognitive decline
  • Memory loss
  • Ataxia
  • Balance problems
  • Neuropathy
  • Alzheimer’s disease
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Dementia
  • Myasthenia gravis
  • Muscle stiffness/rigidity
  • Optical decline
  • Neuromyelitis optica
  • History of concussion

Do I need to be fasting for the Neural Health panel?

Fasting is not required prior to this test..

Is there special handling of samples required for the Neural Health Panel?

Yes. Due to the rapid breakdown of some of the markers being measured on this panel, samples are required to be shipped on dry ice. If you are an ordering provider, please contact your territory sales representative or support@vibrant-america.com for more information, or find our dry ice retailer locator once signed into your Provider Portal account. If you are a patient, please refer questions about sample collection and handling to your ordering provider.
